Rugate Technologies, Inc. has recently expanded to include
an additional 1,700 square feet of manufacturing space in the Oxford, Connecticut facility.
Wide Field of View Narrow Band Highly Reflective Filters in the IR
Rugate Technologies, Inc. has, under a Phase II SBIR contract with the Air Force, developed a technique for designing and manufacturing IR notch filters with wider field of views than typically available. An 8% bandwidth notch filer can provide fixed wavelength laser protection over a 160 degree field of view!
Variable Neutral Density Filters
Rugate Technologies has completed a program to fabricate spatially variable neutral density filters with very tight geometry. Optical density at 532 nm varies linearly from near 0 to 5.5 across a distance of 0.15 inches. Filters can be customized to your specific application.
